Here's how the Reflexology Foot Map looks as an image, super-imposed on the feet. If you think of how the foot moves forward, when walking, from heel to foot, you see that it reflects the way force will hit the body, starting from point where leg mobility stops, at the hips, and travels up to the head. The inside of the body maps to the inside of the body, and the outside to the outside of the body, fitting these lines of force. Reflexology could then be a reflex reaction of the brain to the expected forces flowing up the body. Either way It certainly helps to explain the map if you're trying to teach it!
